Starbucks Japan Sakura 2024: Cherry Blossom flavored drinks and food
Embracing the arrival of spring in 2024, Starbucks introduces its highly anticipated Sakura Series inspired by the beauty of cherry blossoms. Under the concept of “CHEERS to SAKURA” this special collection celebrates the tradition of hanami, or cherry blossom viewing, featuring two delightful beverages: the “Hanami Dango Frappuccino” and the “Hanami Sakura Cream”. Both drinks will be available nationwide at Starbucks locations starting February 15, 2024 (Thursday).
Capturing the essence of hanami in every sip, the Hanami Dango Frappuccino perfectly embodies the classic springtime treat of “Hanami Dango” with its tricolor dumplings. Utilizing tricolor dumplings adorning both the top and bottom of the cup, Starbucks ensures a delightful “mochi mochi” texture throughout the drink. With a blend of white bean paste-flavored Hanami An sauce, Sakura and Strawberry sauce, and soy milk, this Frappuccino offers a gentle Sakura flavor. Topped with plenty of whipped cream alongside the tricolor dumplings, the drink is garnished with pink Sakura feuilletine, reminiscent of falling cherry blossoms, improving the visual appeal and evoking the atmosphere of cherry blossom viewing.
For those craving a subtle sweetness, the Hanami Sakura Cream provides a warm and comforting beverage option. Infused with Spring Blossoming flavor syrup and Caramel flavor syrup, blended with steamed milk, it offers a calming taste reminiscent of blooming spring flowers. Like its counterpart, the Hanami Dango Frappuccino, this drink is adorned with crispy Sakura feuilletine for added texture and enjoyment.
Both drinks are served in a cherry blossom themed special cup!
Available for a limited time these exquisite Sakura Series offerings are sure to captivate your senses and elevate your springtime experience. Whether you’re sipping on the refreshing Hanami Dango Frappuccino or cozying up with the comforting Hanami Sakura Cream, Starbucks invites you to celebrate the beauty of cherry blossoms and create cherished memories with loved ones amidst the blossoming season.

I started to like Japan because of the anime, music and doramas, but after my first trip to the country I found what I love the most: traveling around, the culture and history. Also, as a foreigner living in Japan for over 6 years I understand what kind of things are difficult when you move here and I want to help other people in the same situation that I have in the past.
