Gotenyama Cherry Blossom Festival (御殿山さくらまつり) is held at Gotenyama Garden in Shinagawa. At the event, visitors can relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city, such as foot baths while gazing at the cherry blossoms at this historic cherry blossom viewing spot and fantastic lighting. There are 71 cherry trees of 11 varieties on a space of 6,690 sqm. During the festival, the vast site will be lit up every day from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The ARK Hills Sakura Festival (アークヒルズ さくらまつり) is held at ARK Karajan Plaza in Akasaka ARK Hills in Akasaka area. During this period, the 1km long cherry tree-lined will be in full bloom creating a “cherry blossom tunnel” between the skyscrapers. At night, the garden is illuminated in cooperation with Izumi Garden and the surrounding community.
