Night Cherry Blossom Jewellumination at Yomiuri Land 2023
Best Cherry Blossoms Events in Tokyo: Yomiuriland Night Cherry Blossom Jewellumination

Tokyo’s largest amusement park Yomuriland, famous for its winter illumination event Yomiuriland Jewellumination, will also hold a cherry blossom lighting event for Spring 2023, called Night Cherry Blossom Jewellumination, or Yozakura Jewellumination in Japanese, from March 18 (Saturday) to April 9 (Sunday), 2023.
During this period, Jewel Illumination, an illumination event produced by world-renowned lighting designer Mikiko Ishii, will evolve into a special version with a nighttime cherry blossom theme. Jewellumination is the the world’s first sparkling illumination using LEDs and for the Night Cherry Blossom event the jewel-toned illumination will be supplemented by a new production that emphasizes the beautiful cherry blossoms blooming in the night sky.

The main spot is the Sakura Promenade, which illuminates the fantastic 180-meter-long row of cherry blossom trees with pale pink light. The spot offers a fantastic Spring scenery with nighttime cherry blossoms and Jewel Illumination.
During the cherry blossom period, some attractions will be transformed into cherry blossom viewing spots. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy attractions unique to the cherry blossom season, such as Bandit, a cherry blossom-viewing coaster that runs through the cherry blossoms at breakneck speed after looking upon on them from its highest point, and Gondola Sky Shuttle, which allows visitors to view the cherry blossoms in full bloom from the gondola connecting Keio Yomiuri Land Station and the entrance to the park.
