Home to 350 kinds of sea creatures Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa is one of the most popular aquariums in Tokyo, located near Shinagawa Station. The spring event NAKED SAKURA AQUARIUM will be held at Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa from March 1st to April 20th (Friday), 2025.

Maxell Aquapark Shinagawa has collaborated with the creative company NAKED on a variety of seasonal events in the past, such as their famous Christmas event for Winter.

In the annual spring event NAKED SAKURA AQUARIUM, visitors can enjoy a “Hanami in the marine world” with digital artwork of dancing cherry blossoms and the aquarium’s creatures.

In 2025, the event will feature an updated experience, with an enhanced area design and a new 2-minute show expressing the beauty of cherry blossoms.

The entrance decorations have been revamped, and the “Mai-zakura no Niwa” show will celebrate the various forms of beauty that sakura (cherry blossoms) embody.

Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa’s popular Dolphin Performance will also be held in a spring version. During the day, visitors can experience “Sakura Musou” where cherry blossom scenes come alive through lighting, snow machines, and water effects.

At night, immerse yourself in “Sakura Gatari”, with dynamic dolphin shows in the beautifully illuminated spring-colored sea. Two unique performances, each offering a different perspective on the beauty of cherry blossoms.

I started to like Japan because of the anime, music and doramas, but after my first trip to the country I found what I love the most: traveling around, the culture and history. I have travelled a lot in Japan, but I still have many places to discover that I want to share with you????????‍♀️ Let’s discover Japan together!

Also, as a foreigner living in Japan for over 6 years I understand what kind of things are difficult when you move here and I want to help other people in the same situation that I have in the past.
