Night Cherry Blossom Jewellumination at Yomiuri Land 2025

Best Cherry Blossoms Events in Tokyo: Yomiuriland Night Cherry Blossom Jewellumination

Tokyo’s largest amusement park Yomuriland, famous for its winter illumination event Yomiuriland Jewellumination, will also hold a cherry blossom lighting event for Spring 2025, called Night Cherry Blossom Jewellumination, or Yozakura Jewellumination in Japanese, from March 20th (Thursday) to April 6th (Sunday), 2025.

The Yozakura Jewel Illumination is a spring event where visitors can admire illuminated cherry blossoms. Along a 180-meter-long cherry blossom avenue, guests can enjoy the Jewel Illumination, featuring gem-colored lights, and marvel at light displays that resemble beautiful cherry blossoms.

Jewellumination is the the world’s first sparkling illumination using LEDs and for the Night Cherry Blossom event the jewel-toned illumination will be supplemented by a new production that emphasizes the beautiful cherry blossoms blooming in the night sky.

The highlight is the limited-edition “Shining Cherry Blossom-Colored Jewels”. The 483 LED lights installed on the new Ferris wheel “Sky-Go-LAND,” which opened last year, gently light up the park with a soft, spring-like cherry blossom color.

Additionally, visitors can enjoy approximately 800 cherry blossoms from different perspectives while riding attractions like roller coasters and gondolas. From the gondola linking Keio Yomiuriland Station to the park’s entrance, guests can marvel at the breathtaking sight of cherry blossoms adorning the Tama Hills.

I started to like Japan because of the anime, music and doramas, but after my first trip to the country I found what I love the most: traveling around, the culture and history. I have travelled a lot in Japan, but I still have many places to discover that I want to share with you????????‍♀️ Let’s discover Japan together!

Also, as a foreigner living in Japan for over 6 years I understand what kind of things are difficult when you move here and I want to help other people in the same situation that I have in the past.
