As it has been a classic for several years now for these dates, the popular digital art museum teamLab Planets will transform two of its artworks, Floating Universe of Flowers and Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People – Infinity into a cherry blossom-theme for a limited time from March 1 to April 30, 2023.

-NAKED Cherry Blossoms in Shinjuku Gyoen

Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo’s most famous cherry blossom viewing spots is collaborating with NAKED, INC. are for the first time to create NAKED Sakura Night Garden at Shinjuku Garden. Over 900 cherry trees from 70 varieties blooming in Shinjuku Gyoen will be lit up at night. The event will be held  from Friday, March 31 through Sunday, April 23, 2023.

 Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa is one of the most popular aquarium in Tokyo, with 350 kinds of sea creatures. They have been collaborating with NAKED for some years now, combining aquarium displays with NAKED’s digital art. For Spring NAKED Sakura Aquarium features cherry blossom themed display in the 7 different areas, including the public’s favorite dolphin show for a limited time.

-Yomiuri Land Jewellumination

Yomiuri Land is the largest amusement park in Tokyo area and it’s specially popular for its winter illumination event Yomiuriland Jewellumination. During Spring the park is holding a special cherry blossom lighting event featuring cherry blossoms and colourful illumination.  Visitors can enjoy over 1,000 cherry trees while riding some of attractions during day and the beautiful LED illumination at night.

Tokyo Midtwon, Tokyo’s biggest entertainment complex, will hold its annual spring event MIDTOWN BLOSSOM 2023, where visitors can enjoy cherry blossom viewing and floral art, from Wednesday, March 15 to Sunday, April 16, 2023. For 2023 edition they will also feature a variety of indoor and outdoor events.

Midtown Garden will feature a “spring walkway” lined with approximately 100 cherry blossom trees and The Singleton Blossom Lounge, an outdoor lounge where visitors can enjoy stylish hanami (flower viewing) in the heart of the city. Besides, The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo will offer original cocktails.

Happo-en, the beautiful traditional Japanese garden in Minato ward, Tokyo, will held TOKYO SAKURA GARDEN SPRING FESTIVAL 2023. During the event the cherry trees in the garden will be illuminated in pink light in a Spring Light Up, and visitors can enjoy not only the light up but also cherry blossom-themed food and drinks, Koto performance and even a DJ party!

At day time  visitors can also enjoy cherry blossoms in full bloom.
