Tokyo’s largest amusement park Yomuriland, famous for its winter illumination event Yomiuriland Jewellumination, will also hold a cherry blossom lighting event for Spring 2024, called Night Cherry Blossom Jewellumination, or Yozakura Jewellumination in Japanese, from March 19th (Tuesday) to April 7th (Sunday), 2024.
The Yozakura Jewel Illumination is a spring event where visitors can admire illuminated cherry blossoms. This year, a special version will be held to mark Yomiuriland’s 60th anniversary. Along a 180-meter-long cherry blossom avenue, guests can enjoy the Jewel Illumination, featuring gem-colored lights, and marvel at light displays that resemble beautiful cherry blossoms.
Jewellumination is the the world’s first sparkling illumination using LEDs and for the Night Cherry Blossom event the jewel-toned illumination will be supplemented by a new production that emphasizes the beautiful cherry blossoms blooming in the night sky.
During the event, the beloved Merry-Go-Round will transform into the sparkling “Jewelry Carousel,” adding extra fun for kids and grown-ups alike.
Additionally, visitors can enjoy approximately 800 cherry blossoms from different perspectives while riding attractions like roller coasters and gondolas. From the gondola linking Keio Yomiuriland Station to the park’s entrance, guests can marvel at the breathtaking sight of cherry blossoms adorning the Tama Hills.
In Spring 2024 don’t miss the special illumination celebrating the 60th anniversary of the park!

After Pass (admission after 15:00 + unlimited rides on attractions): Adults 3,100 yen, Junior and senior high school students 2,500 yen, Elementary school students and seniors: 2,200 yen, Preschool children: 1,500 yen
