DISNEY SWEETS COLLECTION by TOKYO BANANA is the official name of the collaboration line created by Disney, the worldwide famous animation film company and the popular souvenir shop TOKYO BANANA(東京ばな奈). To date they have released various types of delicious and adorable sweets and since October a new collection of sweets to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the release of the movie “Fantasia”, one of the great Disney masterpieces, has gone on sale.
This month the second product in this collection was announced, and it couldn’t be cuter! Tokyo Banana’s best-selling sweet, a banana-shaped sponge cake filled with pastry cream with a fun design inspired by the Disney movie Fantasia.
Keep an eye on the Disney Fantasia X Tokyo Banana special collab “Mitsuketta” version, rolling out as a festive limited time exclusive sweets from December 15, 2020 (Tuesday) until around May 2021.
On the package, Mickey Mouse, who plays “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” in the work, is fantastically drawn. The moon and stars, which resemble a Mickey Mouse hat, and Mickey icons are also studded to create a very cute finish. What’s hidden in the cake is…a special chocolate banana custard cream!
Each box has two commemorative postcards chosen at random from eight wonderful designs that reproduce the art of the poster at the time of the film’s release in 1940. Which card will you get? Look forward to it!
Disney SWEETS COLLECTION by Tokyo Banana has a stall inside JR’s Tokyo Station. Collaborative Disney and Tokyo Banana products will also be available in other’s Tokyo Banana stores in Tokyo (Ueno, Shinagawa, Daimaru Tokyo Store, Tokyo Soramachi, etc).

The first commemorative product to be released on October 30, a cookies filled with chocolate banana milk shake flavored cream it can be purchased until mid-February 2021.
