MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: teamLab Borderless, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Tokyo, is scheduled to relocate from Odaiba to Azabudai Hills in the area across Toranomon, Azabudai and Roppongi in 2024. The modern symbolic digital art museum’s relocation is a part of Toranomon-Azabudai Project, a new urban development project in the center of Tokyo.
Tokyo has offered a large number of new things to do and places to visit for domestic and international tourists in recent years. They have enjoyed experiencing the latest digital art museums served by teamLab including MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM in Odaiba and teamLab Planets TOKYO in Toyosu.

Teamlab’s signature contents are coming back to the Toranomon-Azabudai area in Tokyo in 2024, renovated with new contents making full use of its cutting-edge art and technology knowledge. Centering on the new MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: teamLab Borderless, the new large complex is expected to become one of the the coolest places in Tokyo for both residents and travelers. The Azabudai Hills led by a Japanese large property management firm Mori Building Company has its concept of “Modern Urban Village”.

About MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: teamLab Borderless
MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: teamLab Borderless was founded as the world’s first digital art museum officially named MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: EPSON teamLab Borderless in June, 2018. It has made the ultra technology artists group teamlab much more famous all over the globe. More than 2 million people visited it in the first year. It was internationally certified as the most visited single art museum in 2019, which was also featured by American news magazine Time and the Thea Awards.
The former location in Odaiba closed in the end of August, 2022, and it’s scheduled to re-open in Roppongi in early 2024 with the completion of the new landmark of Tokyo, Azabudai Hills. The new museum will evolve teamlab’s concept “Wander, explore, discover in one borderless world” attracting more visitors from across the world than that in Odaiba.

The latest interactive digital installation artworks immerse and meld viewers into themselves as the borderless works transform according to the presence of people and transcends the boundaries between people and the world.
