Dogenzaka dori: A New Complex Facility to Be Open in September 2023 at Shibuya
Shibuya is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Tokyo, especially loved by young people. Shibuya is considered one of the centers of fashion, and there is a huge amount of stores, shopping malls, restaurants, etc. Shibuya neighborhood is always in change, with new attractions.
In 2022 a new observatory was opened, quickly become one of the trends on Instagram and in September 2023 a new large-scale complex facility called “Dogenzaka-dori” was inaugurated in the Dogenzaka area of Shibuya.
Located about 400m from Shibuya Station, Dogenzaka-dori is a large-scale complex with 28 floors and about 115 meters high. The first two floors are occupied by commercial stores, from the 2nd to 10th floors by offices and the 11th to 28th floors by a hotel, the Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya.
Hotel Indigo is a lifestyle boutique hotel brand with 254 hotels across the world, and the new one in Shibuya is their fourth hotel in Japan. Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya include a cafe and bar with an outdoor terrace, a fitness gym and a coffee shop near the entrance on the third floor where guests can eat in and take out. In addition, rooms on the upper floors of the 272 guest rooms will offer panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the Tokyo Sky Tree on clear days.
In addition the two floors of the shopping area are designed to resemble a shopping street, with a row of stores. Visitors can enjoy the relax atmosphere and a pleasant walk while shopping.
Dogenzaka-dori has multiple entrances and exits on two streets, and the inside and outside of the facility are connected like a road.
