The new facility focuses on the theme “Create the world with what you love,” emphasizing intellectual properties (IPs) such as manga, characters, and design.

SHIBUYA TSUTAYA You can see that the Starbucks on the second floor is popular even from overseas. However, if you go up just one more floor, you’ll find a relatively quiet area with the same uninterrupted view of the Shibuya crossing.
The 3rd and 4th floors of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA house the SHARE LOUNGE, a popular TSUTAYA spinoff designed for professionals seeking co-working or casual meeting spaces, as well as visitors looking for a quiet place to unwind.
Open from 8 AM to 11 PM, this time-based café space requires no registration and offers unlimited soft drinks, snacks, frozen foods, and ice cream, with an optional alcohol plan. It has 240 seats of different varieties.

Even better, it will be less crowded, making it easier to take the perfect picture to remember this awesome trip.
Prime Location for Relaxation: Situated in the heart of Shibuya, right near the famous Shibuya Crossing, it offers a perfect spot for a break. The lounge provides a great view of the bustling intersection from the 3rd and 4th floors (You can see the 4th floor seats are behind the giant screen, creating a private area). The standing area by the windows offers a direct view of the constantly changing Shibuya Crossing. This floor also features numerous figurines and collaborations with figure manufacturers, showcasing life-sized and high-end figures inspired by Japan’s renowned IP content. This unique atmosphere sets it apart from typical working spaces.
4th Floor
The 4th floor focuses more on work needs, providing a comfortable workspace with power outlets, high-speed WiFi, and booth seating. It is surrounded by bookshelves and art, creating an inspiring environment.

How to get to SHIBUYA TSUTAYA?
Getting to SHIBUYA TSUTAYA is really easy since it is one of the most iconic buildings in Shibuya.
Shibuya station has a lot of exits, so getting to SHIBUYA TSUTAYA can differ depending on which exit you use. If you get off the Hachiko Exit (the most popular exit among visitors), you just go to the Shibuya Crossing, and you’ll see the building right in front of you.
If you take any other exit, just head towards the Shibuya Crossing, and you’ll find it!
