UNIQLO & GU to Release the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba T-Shirts Collection in 2020 Summer in Japan
The popular Japanese fashion retailer, UNIQLO has collaborated with various artists, brands and creators for their UT (UNIQLO T-Shirts) Collections. The UT collection offers graphic, printed T-shirts for men, women and kids with exclusive designs in collaborations between UNIQLO and partners. The products tend to get extremely popular as they are sold only for limited time, and some of them get sold out right after they go on sale such as Pokemon and Billie Eilish Collections in early this year.
The UNIQLO’s T-shirts collection for 2020 summer has just been announced and the new collaborator is going to be the super popular Japanese manga/anime series today, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a mega hit Japanese anime/manga series which sold 80 million comics (as of July 2020) worldwide. It has been considered one of the best anime of the 2010s, and has received numerous awards.
In addition, UNIQLO’s sister brand, GU will also be releasing its original Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collection inspired by signature styles of popular character from the series.
According to the press release, the first edition of UNIQLO UT Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Collection will go on sale from 7 August 2020 and will be available at UNIQLO stores in Japan as well as the UNIQLO official online store. The collection includes 8 types of unisex sized T-Shirts with exclusive designs of selected illustrations from the manga series.
More items will be added to the second edition including kids sized T-shits and original merchandise goods. The second edition will be featuring illustrations from the anime series and will go on sale in late August (more details to be announce in mid August).

The information about the second edition of UNIQLO UT Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Collection has been revealed on 17 August 2020 as well as the full lineup of collaborated items with GU! The second collection will be released on 28 August 2020, including 6 Men’s (unisex size) T-shirts, 6 Kids T-shirts, 4 pocketable bags and 3 towels with special designs featuring illustrations from the TV series of Demon Slayer. So let’s take a look!

Moreover, when you shop at UNIQLO online store, purchased products will be delivered in the special Demon Slayer edition cardboard for a limited time. This will apply not only for the collaborated items, but also for any UNIQLO products at the online store. The special box will be available while stocks last from 21 August to 24 September 2020.
