The popular Halloween event will be back in Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in 2023 autumn! The park hosts a kids-friendly daytime Halloween event “HAHAHA! HALLOWEEN PARTY” featuring popular characters such as Pokemon, Minions and My Melody as well as a nighttime event “Halloween Horror Night” with the famous Street Zombie. Let’s enjoy the fun and thrilling Halloween experience in Universal Studios Japan this autumn!

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is one of the most popular amusement parks in the world, having a wide range of attractions featuring popular movies and characters. The park also hosts seasonal events through the year, and their Halloween event is particularly popular. The park offers a fun, exiting and scary Halloween experiences for both children and adults.
This year event will kick off on 7th September with HAHAHA! Halloween Party, the daytime Halloween event for everyone from kids to adults can participate and have fun. For the first time in the park’s history, the event features the world’s beloved Pokemon. The “Pokemon Jumpin’ Halloween Party” is where guests can dance along with the loud music by DJ Pikachu and DJ Gengar. The “Pokemon Charge Up! Halloween Greeting” offers an interactive experience with popular Pokemon characters.
There are also Halloween greetings with My Melody and Minions as well as special events featuring popular characters at Universal Studios Japan such as Sesame Street, Snoopy and Hello Kitty, all dressed in Halloween limited costumes.
For thrill seekers, the nighttime Halloween event “Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights” will be held after dark, featuring scary and horrifying Halloween-themed attractions including the infamous Street Zombie with the biggest number of zombies in the park’s history. The park-wide dance party will be also held with a new Zombie de Dance song made in a collaboration with the popular Japanese singer Ado. There are several Halloween-limited attractions featuring the world-famous horror movies and characters such as the Resident Evil, the Cult of Chucky and Sadako from the Ring.

-Pokemon Jumpin’ Halloween Party
Japan’s first Halloween party with Pokemon! The Halloween party is hosted by DJ Pikachu and DJ Gengar with the loud and flashy sound and image. Guests can immerse into the world of Pokemon and lose themselves and dance along to the music!

The greeting event where you can meet, interact and take photos with beloved Pokemon characters.
