STAR WARS Identities: The Exhibition, the special exhibition of Star Wars has been touring around the world since 2012 and attracted over 2 million people in 7 countries so far including Canada, UK, Germany and Australia. The great news for Star Wars fans in Japan. Yes, the exhibition is finally coming to Japan and it will be held from 8 August 2019 till 13 January 2020 at Tokyo Terrada Warehouse.
STAR WARS Identities: The Exhibition will showcase the exclusive collection of over 200 pieces related to the Star Wars franchise including original props, costumes and artworks which are actually used for the films. These exhibits will be stored at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art which is expected to open in Los Angeles in 2022. This means that it’s possibly the last chance to see such a large number of valuable Star Wars original pieces.
Another notable content at the exhibition is the interactive quest which allows visitors to design and create their own character, and explore the Star Wars identity. Every visitor is invited to respond to identity questions at character design stations, and original Star Wars characters will be personalised according to each answer. You can meet your very own Star Wars hero out of 50 million types. The result and the profile of the character can be sent to PC or phone, and can be share on social media right away.
At the exhibition, there is a gift shop selling a variety of Star Wars merchandise including T-Shirts, posters and magnets, and numbers of items are very exclusive and not available anywhere else.
