Big news for all the Nintendo fans living in Kansai! Three years after the opening of the first Nintendo store in Japan located in Tokyo, finally Osaka will have their own store too in 2022 autumn. Now fans can enjoy the extensive collection of exclusive and original merchandise from their favorite video games at Nintendo OSAKA!
Nintendo’s official store “Nintendo OSAKA” will have its grand opening on the 13th floor of Daimaru Umeda Store on Friday, November 11, 2022. Daimaru Umeda Store is one of the biggest shopping complex in Osaka, with 18 floors in which you can find everything from clothes, luxury brands shops, restaurants, exclusive foods and drinks to popular characters stores. The Pokémon Center Osaka and the One Piece oficial store are also located in the Daimaru Umeda Store building, and CAPCOM announced they will be opening a CAPCOM Store soon too!
Although Japan is the country where Nintendo was born, until the opening of the Nintendo Store in Tokyo in 2019 there was only one official Nintendo Store in the world located New York, USA. Nintendo finally launched its first official store in Japan, and since then it’s been all good news for fans of the video game company. Early last year Universal Studios Japan opened its new section Super Nintendo World inspired by Nintendo’s star character Mario.
Now Nintendo fans from Kansai area will have also an exclusive oficial store! At Nintendo OSAKA customers can enjoy not only video games character goods but also game experiences and events.
Original merchandise with the special illustration created for the Nintendo Store of various Nintendo characters marching down together will be available only at the two official stores. Moreover, a variety of products with the image of the most popular and iconic Nintendo characters as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Splatoon and more can be found at the store.
