Tottori

Tottori is the prefecture that composes Chugoku Region. The northern side of Tottori faces the Sea of Japan, so Tottori is very rich in the variety of seafood. Tottori Sakyu is the largest symbolic sand dune in Tottori which seems only like a desert at first sight. There is also an art museum exhibiting a lot of sand-themed artwork near the sand dunes. Mt.Daisen in Tottori is often referred as “Mt.Fuji” in the west, and the nature is rich that you may observe Japanese indigenous animals and plants.
