Detective Conan Cafe in Japan 2023

Detective Conan, also know as Case Closed, is one of the most popular Japanese manga and anime series of all time. Written by Gosho Aoyama, Detective Conan has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since 1994 and sold over 250 million copies worldwide! It was also adapted to TV anime series and over 20 movies have been produced.

The 26th movie of Detective Conan: Submarine of Black Iron will be released in April 14th, 2023, and to celebrate it the Detective Conan Café will be back again for a limited time at ten venues in seven cities (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, Miyagi, Sapporo, and Fukuoka) starting on April 6, 2023 (Thursday).

Under the theme of Hotel Lounge x Luxury, the cafe will offer food, afternoon tea sets, sweets and other items using special ingredients inspired by characters such as Conan Edogawa, Ai Haibara, Toru Amuro and Shuichi Akai. The special menu includes items such as Ai Haibara’s Sweets Lab, a dessert plate with sweets arranged like a jewelry box, Black Curry with Gin & Vodka, a pitch-black curry reminiscent of the Black Organization, and colorful drinks including the popular Conan Edogawa’s Voice-Changing Bow Tie Cream Soda.

Moreover, original cafe merchandise and special gifts for visitors will be also available! If you are a Detective Conan fan, don’t miss both the new movie and the theme cafe this spring.
