My Melody’s first “permanent” cafe is located in Osaka! Don’t miss cute and exclusive My Melody theme food, drinks and merchandise only available at the My Melody Cafe in Osaka!!

Sanrio is a Japanese company which has designed and created numbers of adorable characters including Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Gudetama and more. Along with the character merchandise, Sanrio’s character cafes are very popular which have opened at many locations in Japan. Most of the character cafes are open only for a limited time while only a few permanent cafes are available.

My Melody is one of the most beloved Sanrio character, and in the past, the My Melody theme cafe opened several times temporarily, yet there has never been a permanent one. The long-awaited “permanent” My Melody Cafe opened in Osaka, Japan in 2019.

My Melody Cafe is located on the 7th floor of HEP FIVE OSAKA UMEDA. The cafe has 82 seats and is decorated with the classic English rose garden theme in pale pink, green and white. Inside the store, there is a spot where you can take photos with adorable characters and fully immerse yourself into the world of My Melody.

Various character motif dishes are available on the menu including savory dishes, desserts and drinks. Super cute and Instagram-Worthy My Melody them food can be enjoyed only at this cafe! Let’s take a look at some of the items available on My Melody Cafe menu!
