What is teamLab (チームラボ)??
teamLab (f. 2001) is an art collective, an interdisciplinary group of ultratechnologists whose collaborative practice seeks to navigate the confluence of art, science, technology, design and the natural world. Various specialists such as artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians and architects form teamLab.
teamLab aims to explore a new relationship between humans and nature, and between oneself and the world through art. Digital technology has allowed art to liberate itself from the physical and transcend boundaries. teamLab sees no boundary between humans and nature, and between oneself and the world; one is in the other and the other in one. Everything exists in a long, fragile yet miraculous, borderless continuity of life.
Teaming up with Mori Building, the TeamLab’s first own, and the world’s very first digital art museum opened in Odaiba area, Tokyo in 2018 summer.
MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: EPSON teamLab Borderless features approx 50 spectacular digital works in a massive 10,000 m2 space using 520 computers and 470 projectors (cooperated by EPSON) to create a whole new digital world which no one has seen before.
The museum is divided in 5 different sections:
Borderless World
The latest interactive digital installation artworks immerse and meld viewers into themselves as the borderless works transform according to the presence of people and transcends the boundaries between people and the world.

A new physical creative space that promotes growth of the hippocampus of the brain, and trains spatial awareness. It is based on the concept of understanding the world through the body and thinking of the world three-dimensionally.
Future Park
Future Park is an educational project and an experimental field for co-creation (collaborative creation).
Forest of Lamps
When a person stands still close to a lamp, it shines brightly and emits a color that resonates out.
