Oita

Oita, located on the northeast side of Kyushu, is the capital of Onsen. You can find some of the most renowned Onsen in all of Japan such as Beppu Onsen, which is the largest Onsen in Japan, having over 2,850 sources of hot spring. Many people come from all around the country to enjoy multiple Onsen spots in this area. Yufuin Onsen is a town in the center of the prefecture which is surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountains. It is also famous for its top popular Onsen, and visitors from abroad are increasing rapidly. Besides the lakes and mountains, there are large limestone caves and waterfalls. It is a place where you can go and cleanse your soul.
