SPY×FAMILY Waku Waku Park Exhibition 2023-2024

Step into the world of SPY×FAMILY and don't miss the Waku Waku Park in Tokyo's Ikebukuro.

Created by Tatsuya Endo, the popular manga and anime series SPY×FAMILY Spy Family will host an exciting event in Tokyo, featuring the SPY×FAMILY Waku Waku Amusement Park and a collaboration between the newly released SPY×FAMILY movie and CAPCOM Café. This article introduces the time limit event, SPY×FAMILY Waku Waku Park. It’s a photo-friendly exhibition with mini-games, suitable for fans and families with young children. After the exhibition, visitors can also explore the unique exclusive merchandise store of the Forger family, although photography is restricted in some areas of the exhibition, including the merchandise store. However, there are plenty of photo spots and mini-activities to complete and receive gifts.

SPY×FAMILY Waku Waku Park

From December 15, 2023, to January 14, 2024, the SPY×FAMILY Waku Waku Park will be open at Ikebukuro Sunshine City Cultural Center on the 3rd floor, Area B. The park is especially busy on holidays, requiring tickets for specific times on certain dates, including December 15-17, 23-24, 29-31, and January 2, 3, 6-8, 13-14 in 2024. Weekdays are less crowded, allowing for a more leisurely experience.

At the entrance, there’s a wall featuring many scenes from the anime. After ticket validation, a red carpet flanked by main characters from the anime leads visitors to the end where the Forger family awaits.

Staff at the entrance distribute a booklet for completing tasks, with stamps collection mission along the way forming a picture. Completing mini-tasks also rewards additional small prizes.

Anime Production Zone (大百科ゾーン)

Visitors will encounter three areas from the anime. The first area introduces information about the production of SPY×FAMILY, starting the stamp collection.

Initial exhibits include settings from the anime, such as the Forger’s house, Eden Academy, and the WISE intelligence organization which Loid works for.

Character introductions and a gallery featuring each episode’s story and highlights are also displayed.

The first area includes Frankie’s tobacco stand (photo spot), offering more detailed production information.

The next section is a display area, with two central exhibits changing over time.

Memory Diary Zone (思い出ダイアリーゾーン)

The second area features Anya’s room with many mini-games. Completing each game rewards stickers for the task booklet, and there’s also a photo area for souvenir pictures, both part of the tasks.

Different mini-games and photo opportunities allow visitors to immerse themselves in the world of SPY×FAMILY. Completing three tasks earns a complete photo album and additional small gifts.

Fan Zone (ファンゾーン)

In this area, visitors can leave a message that gets uploaded to a screen, highlighted by a yellow circle (I drew Bond). A merchandise shop is nearby (no photography allowed inside).

After completing three tasks, visitors can draw for a small gift. I received my Anya. Completing all tasks rewards a complete commemorative album. This area also offers many cute merchandise items, some exclusive to the Tokyo venue.

I hope you enjoyed this introduction. If you’re a SPY x FAMILY fan residing in Japan or visiting Tokyo during this period, don’t miss the opportunity to visit WAKU WAKU Park and the nearby SPY x FAMILY CAPCOM Café!
