Kagawa

Kagawa, the smallest prefectures of 47 prefectures in Japan, composes Shikoku Region of Japan. The goal of the Shikoku Pilgrimage (also known as Henro) is located in Kagawa and many enthusiastic Shikoku fans visit Kagawa every year because of this. In the Takamatsu area of Kagawa, you are able to feel the heart of the Japanese garden made in nature such as Ritsurin Koen and the Takamatsu Castle Park. An isolated island of Kagawa, Naoshima exhibits art works such as Kusama Yayoi's Pumpkin and many other museums densely stands and preserves valuable historical artworks. Another isolated island, Shodoshima (also known as Olive Island), abundant in nature, has the unique food culture of its own.
