Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Event at Namjatown in Ikebukuro, Tokyo

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba x Namjatown Collaboration in 2021

The special event “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba x Namjatown ~Peaceful Days with Cats~” will be held for two months from 5 February to 4 April 2021.

The TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is now collaborating with an indoor theme park, Namjatown located in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The event features original illustration of five popular characters of the anime series: Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Giyuu interacting with cats, which are the symbolic animal of Namjatown. There will be also Demon Slayer themed attractions, photo spots, original merchandise and food available exclusively at the event.

The mini attraction “Slay the Demon! Total Concentration Water Breathing” is a digital roulette where players swing a Nichirin blade towards the demon appearing on the screen. There will be original prizes given depending on the result.

 “Cat Finding ~the Moment with Them and Cats~” is a rally attraction which visitors go around the Namjatown park and search for missing cats with hints from the conversation between life-sized panels of Pillars. The prize will be also given.

Demon Slayer merchandise with original illustrations will be sold at Najamoja Market (the goods shop at Namjatown). For purchase over 3,000 yen, you can receive one of cat-shaped illustration sheets (20 types in total). The merchandise will be also available at Namjatown Online Shop (https://p-bandai.jp/namjaonlineshop/kimetsu-namja/list-da10-n0/) while the event is held in case you won’t be able to visit the event.

11 kinds of Demon Slayer theme food and dessert will be served at Namja Gyoza Stadium and Fukubukuro Dessert Yokocho including Tanjiro’s Rice Croquette and Nezuko’s Strawberry Drink. For each order, one of illustration sheets (11 types in total) related to each menu will be given.
