TOM and JERRY Cafe to be Back in Tokyo and Osaka in 2021 Autumn

Tom and Jerry is an American cartoon franchise and series created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The series features short anime films about the rivalry between a cat named Tom and a mouse named Jerry, and their never-ending chases and battles have been admired by kids and adults across the world over the past 80 years.

In 2021 spring, the Tom and Jerry themed cafe opened in Japan for a limited time in order to celebrate the release of the live-action/computer-animated film “Tom & Jerry: The Movie”, which was a great success.

11 November is national Cheese Day in Japan and to celebrate this occasion, the Tom and Jerry Cafe will be back in Japan with the updated menu and original merchandise featuring Jerry’s favourite cheese.

The Tom and Jerry Cafe will re-open in Tokyo (7 October to 5 December 2021) and Osaka (8 October to 14 November 2021). The new menu includes Mac and Cheese Burger with Spike Bulldog, Meatball Pasta with Tuffy, the gorgeous Cheese Set and Maritozzo. Popular items from previous open such as Omu Rice, Tiramusu, Cream Soda will be also back on the menu.

The cafe features the pop and fun theme to describe the world of Tom and Jerry. There be also cafe’s original merchandise with the new design exclusively sold during the opening period.
