Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea Event Schedule 2024

Tokyo Disney Resort is a popular place to visit for both Japanese and international visitors all year round; some people living in Japan will even go several time in a single year. There are many reasons for this, but most notably is because of the seasonal events that occur during the year.

Whatever day you decide to go visit Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea, it is most probable that there will be an ongoing event on that day. Whether that is new years event, summer event, or Christmas event, you will be guaranteed to have a unique and exciting experience that you won’t be able to have on another season.

In this article, I will introduce to you the schedule of both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea for 2024. If you are interested in visiting Tokyo Disney Resort during any of these seasonal events, be sure to check the dates of these events to not miss out on them!

Before going to the yearly schedule, let’s quickly review what Tokyo Disney Resort actually is. Tokyo Disney Resort is one of the six Disney resorts in the world, consisting of two parks being Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. These two parks, even when seen separately, rank between the top most visited theme parks in the world.

There are many reasons for its great popularity such as having the most recognizable characters, exciting attractions, and unique and tasty foods. There are even hotels within the resort where you can stay without breaking the magical atmosphere of Disney. It is also very accessible, being located in Urayasu city, Chiba prefecture, which is close from central Tokyo.

And as I previously mentioned in the beginning, seasonal events are another thing that make Tokyo Disney Resort such a popular place to visit no matter what season it is. The cool thing is that even though the same events happen simultaneously at both parks, The content of the events will be different, making it even more enticing to go visit both parks.

New Year’s Special Event 2024 at Tokyo Disneyland

Date: January 1 to 8, 2024

New Year’s in Disney is an annual event at Tokyo Disney Resort in celebration of the holiday season. Every year there are unique activities and events prepared by Disney friends and there will be a daily “New Year’s Greetings” parade with all your favorite Disney characters dressed in traditional Japanese style.

Disney Pal-Palooza “Minnie’s Funderland”

Date: January 10 to March 19, 2024

Tokyo Disneyland offers a special Disney Pal-Palooza event series “Minnie’s Funderland” where you can enjoy the whole theme park filled with Minnie Mouse cute designs pink heart polka-dots, entertainment, shows, and activities such as a parade with Minnie Mouse and friends characters, and other goods, foods, and souvenirs.

Anniversary Event “Tokyo Disney Resort 40th ‘Dream-Go-Round'”

Date: April 15, 2023, to March 31, 2024

In celebration for the 40th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Resort, there will be a special event for an entire year! A completely original parade will take place as well as original goods at the shops and special menus at the restaurants will be available during this special year.

Special Event Series: “Donald’s Quacky Duck City”

Date: April 9, 2024 to June 30, 2024

Tokyo Disneyland’s special event Disney Pal-Palooza event series “Donald’s Quacky Duck City” where you can enjoy the whole theme park as a Duck City filled with Donald’s ideal world decorations, entertainment, activities, special goods, and foods.

Special Event “Celebrity”: Space Mountain, The Final Ignition!

Date: April 9, 2024, to July 31, 2024

Tokyo Disneyland’s special event “Celebrity ” Space Mountain: The Final Ignition held to give more excitement and enjoy the outer space rides. Aside from the outer space-inspired decorations that can be seen around the space mountain, there are special goods and food menus available at the event that will provide a unique experience and memories.

Summer Program

Date: July 2, 2024 to September 18, 2024

Tokyo Disney Resort offers a variety of summer events and activities to make the summer season more fun and exciting. One of them is the summer programs for this season such as entertainment, shows, and attractions.

Special Event: Disney Halloween 2024

Date: October 1, 2024 to November 7, 2024

One of the biggest Halloween celebrations in Japan takes place here at Disneyland! This halloween event features many special attractions and it’s a great chance to visit the park in your favorite Disney character’s costume.

Special Event: Disney Christmas 2024

Date: November 15, 2024 to December 25, 2024

Right after the Halloween event has finished, you will be able to enjoy the final event of the year which is the Disney Christmas event. What better way to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere than with your favorite Disney characters and your special people at this magical land?

Special goods and menus are also available at the event. Don’t miss the original stickers inspired by the fantasy spring giving at the entrance and around the harbor.

Tokyo Disney Sea Food & Wine Festival

Date: April 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024

Is a special event at Tokyo DisneySea that offers a variety of set meals and snacks as well as a variety of beverages such as wine from around the world.

Summer Program
