Kabukicho (歌舞伎町) is the most liveliest nightlife district in Tokyo. The red light district covers several blocks of the east side of Shinjuku Station. There are lots of stores you can’s enjoy in a few nights such as bars, pubs, cabarets, fetish bars, peep shows and so on which are lined along the shiny streets from the gigantic red light entrance gate.
You can easily find your favorite dining restaurants for everything from ramen, sushi and Izakaya stalls to themed restaurants like Robot Restaurant which offers glaring performances by robots and bikini-clad girls.

It seems a little dark and scary but generally safe to walk through. Better not to go alone just in case.
