Fuji Rock Festival 2024

One of the greatest music festivals in the world, Fuji Rock Festival is held annually at Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture for 3 days. The event boasts an outstanding lineup of international and Japanese performing acts including some of world’s biggest names, and attracts over 100,000 music lovers from all over the world every year. The event offers audiences a great experience to enjoy the music in a rich natural environment.

For all Fuji Rock Festival attenders, one of the most important things to prepare ahead to the event is deciding where to stay. Various types of accommodations are available around the festival site including hotels and Japanese style inns, but for those who wish to fully immerse into the natural surroundings, camping could be a great option.

Here is some useful information about camping at Fuji Rock Festival and a newly opening glamping area for 2024.

Camping at Fuji Rock Festival

There are 4 different camp sites available at the site of Fuji Rock Festival, and ticket types and purchase methods differ for each area.

Main Camp Site: The largest camp site and closest to the festival site. You will need to purchase a Standard Camp Site Ticket (5,000 yen) or book the rental plan

PYRAMID GARDEN Camp Site: Located 1 minute from the bus terminal. Use of this camp site is limited to official tour bus users.

MOON CARAVAN: A four night auto camping facility for both cars and motorcycles. Required to purchase a Moon Caravan Tickets (parking ticket + camp site ticket + 3-day entry ticket).

*NEW* CAMP VILLAGE: A rental tent area with pre-installed tents and campervans as well as rental of essential equipment such as beds and blankets. You will need to purchase a Camp Village Ticket (also required to purchase a Fuji Rock Festival entry ticket and a camp site ticket)

CAMP VILLAGE

Camp Village is a new glamping area opening at Fuji Rock Festival in 2024. The rental tent area is situated on a flat terrain adjacent to the hospitality area ORANGE CAFE, offering 3 types of hassle-free camping with essential items provided. The first type is the Camping Car Plan with a camping car with an air-con and mini fridge installed. The second is the Deluxe Camp Plan that comes with a tent and a tarp set up for up to 4 people. The last is the Simple Camp Plan perfect for up to 2 people.

Each plan provides beds (cots), blankets and other essential items so you don’t need to worry about setting up camp after arriving. The rental tent plan at Camp Village is highly recommended for camp beginners, where you can enjoy trouble-free glamping while listening to music in the great outdoor. Reservation for Camp Village is available from 5 April, with only a limited number.

Camp Village users with a Camp Village wristband can board the FUJI ROCK go round shuttle bus that operates within the site, departing from the Orange Cafe.

Camping Car Plan

Rental Period: from 9:00am 26 July (Fri) to 11:00am 29th July (Mon)
*Discounted prices for shorter stays not available. Above price applies for all number of nights.

-Accommodates up to 4 people
-Children aged 15 years or younger (as of 28th July 2024) accompanied by an adult are not included in the number of person using the Camp Village Rental. According to the vehicle standard, up to 3 small children can be added, however, please note that additional beds and blankets are not provided.

Basic Facilities: electricity with outlets, mini fridge, air-con, beds for 4 people, blankets for 4 people, sink (only for brushing teeth and washing face)
*kitchenette, shower and toilets are not available

Price: 300,000 yen (per vehicle)

Deluxe Camp Plan

Rental Period: from 9:00am 26 July (Fri) to 11:00am 29th July (Mon)
*Discounted prices for shorter stays not available. Above price applies for all number of nights.

-Children aged 15 years or younger (as of 28th July 2024) accompanied by an adult are not included in the number of person using the Camp Village Rental. According to the tent specification, up to 2 small children can be added, however, please note that additional basic facilities such as cots or blankets are not provided.

Basic Facilities: DOD One Pole Tent RX (L), DOD Inner Tent Set, DOD Camping Tarp, DOD Sleeping Cots for 4 people, DOD Tequila Table, DOD Bonfire Chair for 2 people, blankets for 4 people, lantern

Price: 140,000 yen (per tent)

Simple Camp Plan

Rental Period: from 9:00am 26 July (Fri) to 11:00am 29th July (Mon)

-Children aged 15 years or younger (as of 28th July 2024) accompanied by an adult are not included in the number of person using the Camp Village Rental. According to the tent specification, up to 1 small children can be added, however, please note that additional basic facilities such as cots or blankets are not provided.

Basic Facilities: DOD One Pole Tent RX (L), DOD Inner Tent Set, DOD Ground Sheet, DOD Sleeping Cots for 2 people, blankets for 2 people, lantern

Price: 60,000 yen (per tent)

Note for Camp Village Users:

-Separate purchase of festival entry tickets and camp site tickets is required.

-Valid wristbands for both Fuji Rock Festival and Camp Village are required for entering and exiting the Camp Village as the camp site is located within the festival site. Guests are required to leave Camp Village within the validity period of wristbands. Those who exit the area without valid wristbands, in case, will be required to purchase a 1-day entry ticket for the festival.

-While the festival site is closed, it is not allow to leave the Camping Village between 5am and 9am each day. However, exit is available from 5am to 11am on 29th July (Mon).

-Use of the tents or camping cars exceeding capacity is not permitted.
Please make your own preparation for any additional children accompanying your group.

-Please bring your own foul weather gear, amenities, and other items that are not provided at the camp site.
