Christmas is back in Universal Studios Japan! One of the most exciting seasonal events at the park, NO LIMIT! Christmas will be held from 20 November 2024 to 5 January 2025 to celebrate Christmas with your loved ones.
The park’s Christmas event will feature various programs including special shows, festive decorations and character greetings, offering guests unique and exciting experiences. There will be also the limited-time Christmas merchandise and food menu available at park’s shops and restaurants. Moreover, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, “Hogwarts Magical Night: Winter Magic” will be making a comeback for the first time in five years as the finale to the 10th anniversary of the area’s opening.
The live Christmas show “Frosty’s Electric Snow Party” will be returning this year, following the success and popularity from last year. The iconic, shining “Electric Frosty” will deliver super enthusiasm to the most uplifting Christmas songs and the dazzling lights. On the neon-colored stage, Electric Frosty will be performing cute and glamorous dances together with the park’s popular characters, including Snoopy, Elmo, Hello Kitty, and the illuminated Minions in dazzling Christmas costumes. This year, a new photo time will be added to the finale, which allows guests to take photos of the park’s friends and entertainers on stage, and take home a precious moment to remember with a photo souvenir.
A symbol of winter at Universal Studios Japan, “NO LIMIT! Party Tree” stands out at over 30 meters in size, and its energetic and magnificent draping decorations sparkle in the sunlight during the day and its large diamond-shaped ornaments instantly get you into the Christmas spirit. At night, the colorful and pop illuminations shine rhythmically as if they are dancing in sync with the Christmas songs playing in the park.
The park’s popular characters will also be welcoming guests in cute Christmas costumes only available at this time of year. You can have a fun time at Minion Park with the adorable Minions in their new limited-time Christmas costumes, sing and dance to Christmas songs with the friends from Universal Wonderland, and take special photos. The pop and fun singing show “Power of Pop — Christmas Holiday Heartbeat” features talented singers with beautiful harmonies and cool dance moves singing Christmas songs right in front of you, making this super-moving entertainment only available at this time of year.
The 10th anniversary of the opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter area is finally coming to an end, and as the finale the castle show “Hogwarts Magical Night — Winter Magic” will be held this winter, for the first time in five years. The Hogwarts Castle will be transformed one after another by spells and winter magic, such as being covered in snow with Meteolojinx and being enveloped in warm light with Lumos.
In addition, “Holiday Frog Choir”, a winter version of Frog Choir performed by students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and frogs from the wizarding world, will be returned for the first time in five years. In addition, you can look forward to magical experiences unique to this winter, such as “Hogwarts Castle Walk”, where you can walk around the magnificent Hogwarts Castle, recreated with overwhelming quality, down to the smallest detail on a special route, and “Magical Creatures Encounter”, where you can interact with magical creatures.
