Universal Studios Japan (also known as USJ), one of six Universal Studios theme parks in the world, opened in Osaka City in March. Drawing over 10 million people visit the park every year, the park is country’s most visited amusement parks in Japan along with Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea.
Covering approx 54 ha, Universal Studios Japan consists of 10 different areas, with each one featuring fun and thrilling attractions with famous movie themes such as Harry Potter, Super Mario, Minions, Spider Man, Jurassic Park, Jaws, and popular characters such as Snoopy, Sesame Street, Hello Kitty and more. From adrenaline boosting roller coasters to kids-friendly fun rides, the park offers visitors a various attractions and shows. Moreover, there are shops, restaurants and cafes at the park offering character themed menu and limited merchandise which are also extremely popular among visitors.
