Genkai : Long Established Japanese Restaurant in Shinjuku, Tokyo
Genkai (玄海) is a long-established Japanese restaurant, serving traditional Japanese cuisine, mainly chicken dishes for around 90 years. Genkai’s signature dish is “Mizutaki” which is a hot pot dish with Chicken stock originated in Fukuoka Prefecture, Kyushu Region, and it is commonly eaten in Western Japan. The creamy white soup of the Mizutaki is made with long simmered chicken stock and has very rich taste of free range chicken which was selected from northern Japan. Mizutaki dish at Genkai is made with selected quality ingredients, and it’s healthy and tasty.
If you wish to try unique yet authentic Japanese dishes, try Mizutaki hot pot dish which is especially recommended during autumn and winter. Besides hot pot dishes, Genkai offers a wide variety of authentic Japanese dishes using seasonal ingredients through the year.
