Azabudai Hills Unveiled: A Journey Through Tokyo’s Latest Urban Masterpiece
Mori Building’s “Modern Urban Village” concept in Tokyo, launched on November 24, 2023, merges nature and urban living across an 8.1-hectare area, dedicating 24,000 square meters to green spaces within a vast 861,700 square meter ecosystem. This mixed-use development integrates offices, residences, cultural centers, and medical facilities, epitomizing the ‘Hills’ city design to rejuvenate urban life.
The Azabudai Hills project, adjacent to Roppongi Hills, Toranomon Hills, and ARK Hills, features three skyscrapers including Japan’s tallest, the Mori JP Tower, and several commercial spaces like the Azabudai Hills Gallery, Keio Clinic, and luxury boutiques. With a total of 150 stores, it aims to serve 20,000 employees, 3,500 residents, and attract 30 million annual visitors, enhancing Tokyo’s appeal with the Janu Tokyo Hotel and Mori Building Digital Art Museum that opened in January 2024.

Shueisha Manga-Art Heritage Tokyo Gallery
The Shueisha Manga-Art Heritage Tokyo Gallery, is the first permanent exhibition space by Shueisha, the renowned publisher behind iconic manga titles like One Piece and Bleach. In each one of its temporary exhibitions, the gallery showcases high-quality, limited-edition prints of manga artwork, produced using traditional techniques such as letterpress and collotype printing on archival materials like Mino washi paper.
Each piece is supervised by the original artists and accompanied by blockchain-authenticated certificates. The gallery features unique spaces, including a tea room displaying wall scrolls and a reservation-only lounge for collectors.

L’ABEILLE
L’Abeille, a distinguished honey brand established in 1946, brings its exquisite offerings to Azabudai Hills. Renowned for its unique array of honey and honey products sourced from their own apiaries and bee farms across 12 countries, L’Abeille offers more than 80 types of honey in its 19 stores and online.
They have created the world’s first honey patisserie, where unique sweets are made entirely using the natural sweetness of honey and other ingredients, without any added sugar.
You can actually sample different varieties of honey, and a professional will explain the differences between them. There’s also a special room where they store premium honey, which you can taste as well. I tried the white honey, and it has a fragrance similar to perfume. What’s incredible is that there are no artificial additives in the honey—it’s truly amazing!
4. Garden Plaza C: The Culinary Heart of Azabudai Hills
The Azabudai Hills Market, opened on March 13, 2024, is a 4,000-square-meter gourmet destination located beneath the Central Green in Garden Plaza C. It features over 30 specialty food stores offering fresh seafood, premium meats, seasonal produce, artisanal baked goods, boutique wines, and more. This curated marketplace blends luxury with everyday accessibility, making it a standout culinary hub in Tokyo’s food scene.
5. Azabudai Hills Residence A
Azabudai Hills Residence A is a 53-story luxury residential tower with 320 high-end units ranging from one to four bedrooms, some featuring private pools and panoramic views of Tokyo Tower. Residents enjoy exclusive amenities such as valet services, guest suites, lounges, and direct access to the Azabudai Hills Market. How to get to Azabudai Hills
In order to get to Azabudai Hills, there are two train stations that are closest which are Kamiyacho Station (神谷町駅) of the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and Roppongi-Itchome Station (六本木一丁目駅) of the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to Azabudai Hills from either station.
