What is the Keio Line?

The Keio Line (京王線) is a railway line operated by Keio Electric Railway. Keio line has 34 stations and all of the stations are located in Tokyo. The route name comes from the “Kyo” in Tokyo and “O” in Hachioji. Keio line runs between Shinjuku station and Keio Hachioji station. While Keio New line is the common name for the line extension between Shinjuku station and Sasazuka station with 4 stations. Keio line has six different types of services Keio liner, Limited Express (Special express), Express, Section Express (Semi-express), Rapid and Local train.
