Roppongi Hills Christmas 2024
One of most popular winter events in Tokyo, Roppongi Hills Christmas is kicking off at Roppongi Hills in early November 2024. The event features gorgeous winter illumination along the famous Keyakizaka Street, one of the biggest Christmas Markets in Tokyo and Christmas Tree and decorations at the site.
The illumination at Roppongi Keyakizaka Street has been one of most popular spots to visit in Tokyo during winter and invited over 7 million people in the past year. The 400m tree-lined avenue is decorated with approximately 800,000 LED lights, creating a fantastical silver and white landscape. The view of Tokyo Tower can be seen on the background and it’s a very popular spot for photography.
During Christmas season, the German style Christmas Market is held at Oyane Plaza, Roppongi Hills. It’s one of Tokyo’s biggest and oldest Christmas Markets, featuring jolly Christmas decorations, traditional music and authentic food and drinks at vendors.
Roppongi Hills is definitely a must-visit spot during winter in Tokyo as the gorgeous winter illumination and the joyful Christmas Market can be enjoyed at the same time. The Roppongi Hills Christmas is available till 25th December, so make sure to mark your calendar!
