The Marunouchi area, next to the famous and beautiful Tokyo Station and close to the luxury Ginza district, is one of the most elegant areas of Tokyo.
Since its launch in 2019, Marunouchi Street Park has become a yearly tradition, with this year marking its 15th edition. The event transforms public spaces like roads into vibrant, pedestrian-friendly areas, creating a lively atmosphere in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho district.
With the theme “Bright Street,” this year’s event features sparkling champagne-gold illuminations and memorable winter experiences. In addition to Marunouchi Naka-dori, the event will also extend to Gyoko-dori, linking Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace, showcasing the integrated use of public spaces.
Marunouchi Street Park 2025 Winter, a Christmas event on Marunouchi Nakadori Avenue & Gyoko-dori Avenue in Tokyo will be held from 13 November to 25 December 2025! This will be the largest-ever event of its kind, allowing visitors to enjoy a unique Christmas stroll through the streets.
The Christmas Market and food trucks, in collaboration with local shops and hotels in the Marunouchi area, will create a festive atmosphere for shopping and dining. Under the twinkling lights, visitors can relax at tables and chairs set up along the roads.
For the first time, Gyoko-dori Avenue, which connects Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace, will feature Christmas trees and festive “Christmas Hut” food stalls. Four 4-meter-tall fir trees will be installed to welcome the winter season at Tokyo’s iconic gateway. Around 10 huts will offer warm seasonal treats such as handmade pizzas, stews, and hot drinks. Visitors can relax and enjoy this unique holiday atmosphere under the sparkling lights, right in front of Tokyo Station.
Along with Marunouchi Street Park, don’t miss Marunouchi’s traditional winter illumination Marunouchi Illumination, featuring a 1.2km long tree-lined avenue lit by champagne gold LED lights as well as Marunouchi Bright Holiday, a Christmas illumination in a collaboration with adorable Disney character.
