GU × Pokemon Collaboration 2026: New Autumn Collection Launching in Japan

Discover Pokémon-Inspired Fleece, Sweatshirts and Casual Wear for Adults and Kids, Available from 23 October 2026

Japanese fashion brand GU is launching a new Pokémon collaboration on Friday 23 October 2026 from 7:15 a.m. The collection imagines the everyday style of a Pokémon Trainer living in the forest alongside their Pokémon.

Expect earthy, nature-inspired colours and details borrowed from outdoor wear. The lineup is built around fleece, knitwear and sweatshirts, so it is made for Japan’s chilly autumn and winter.

There are 8 product styles in total: 6 unisex pieces and 2 kids’ items. Prices range from ¥1,490 to ¥4,990, which makes it an affordable way to bring home official Pokémon clothing from Japan. All prices include Japanese consumption tax.

The key visual shows Pikachu, Eevee and friends set against a green, forest-ridge backdrop. Here is everything you need to know about the GU x Pokémon 2026 collection.

Unisex Collection (6 Items)

The unisex line comes in sizes XS to 3XL, so it works for most adults regardless of build. Several pieces use recycled materials, including the fleece and sweatshirt items.

Half-Zip Fleece Pullover Pokémon — ¥2,990

A cosy fleece pullover with a half-zip that runs up to the neck. Each colour has its own woven Pokémon label — Mew, Charizard or Gengar — and the zip pull is shaped like a Poké Ball.

Available in three colours: light grey, red and navy. Made with recycled materials.

Sweat Pullover Pokémon — ¥2,990

A crewneck sweatshirt with subtle Pokémon graphics. The light grey version uses silhouettes of the three original starters, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, while the black version features a Pikachu silhouette in outdoor-inspired colours.

Available in light grey and black. Made with recycled materials.

Full-Zip Knit Jacket Pokémon — ¥4,990

The most premium piece in the collection. Pokémon silhouettes are woven into a geometric all-over knit pattern, giving it a retro, Nordic-sweater feel that does not shout “character goods”. The navy version features Pikachu with an Electric-type icon, the brown version Eevee with a Poké Ball, and the zip pull is Poké Ball-shaped.

Available in navy and brown.

Fleece Full-Zip Parka Pokémon — ¥3,990

A hooded fleece jacket with a full zip. It features a woven label with a Pikachu silhouette in outdoor-inspired colours, plus a Poké Ball-shaped zip pull.

Available in black and green. Made with recycled materials.

Graphic T-Shirt Pokémon — ¥1,490

The easiest entry point into the collection. The white tee features Dragonite, while the blue tee showcases Flying-type Pokémon such as Pidgeotto and Zapdos.

Note that this T-shirt is sold at selected stores only, so it may not be available at every GU branch.

Sweat Lounge Set Pokémon — ¥3,990

A matching set of a long-sleeved top and long trousers, perfect for relaxing at home or at your hotel. Each colour has a small embroidered Slowpoke, Pikachu or Snorlax with the logo on the chest, and the waist drawstring is made of paracord.

Available in grey, dark green and navy. Made with recycled materials.

Kids Collection (2 Items)

The kids’ line comes in sizes 100cm to 160cm, and both items are priced at an easy ¥1,990.

Kids Sweat Pullover Pokémon — ¥1,990

A sweatshirt with a different Pokémon design for each colour. Grey features Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile, the first partner Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Black uses the same Pikachu silhouette as the adult sweatshirt for matching outfits, brown shows Eevee and its evolutions, and blue features Froakie, Frogadier and Greninja.

Available in grey, black, brown and blue. Made with recycled materials.

Kids Cotton Sweat Lounge Set Pokémon — ¥1,990

A long-sleeved top and long trousers in contrasting colours, ideal as comfy pyjamas or everyday loungewear for young Pokémon fans.

Available in natural (Pikachu), dark grey (Meowth) and brown (Eevee).
