The SpongeBob Theme Cafe, CAFE Secret Recipe to Open in Shibuya, Tokyo 2024
SpongeBob SquarePants, or simply known as SpongeBob, is an American animation created by animator Stephen Hillenburg, which was premiered first time in 1999, and the main character SpongeBob and his friends are beloved across the world today.
In 2024, SpongeBob is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and for this special occasion, “CAFE Secret Recipe” a cafe based on the concept of the world-famous animation SpongeBob will open for a limited time at RAYARD MIYASHIYA PARK, a new shopping complex opened in Shibuya, Tokyo in 2020.
The cafe is inspired by the undersea world of SpongeBob, where guests can enjoy the meals surrounded by friends of the underwater city Bikini Bottom. The cafe’s special menu with 18 varieties of food, desserts and drinks with motif of SpongeBob and his friends such as SpongeBob sandwich, Patrick burger and Gary cake. There are 3 kinds of takeaway food, too.
In addition, there are special SpongeBob merchandise with over 30 items, exclusively sold at the cafe, such as SpongeBob doll with an original costume, water bottle, towel and apparel goods.
The SpongeBob themed cafe, CAFE Secret Recipe will open in 13 June for a limited time until 4 November 2024. If you are a SpongeBob fan, don’t miss a chance to visit the cafe and enjoy special food surrounded by adorable characters! There are reserved seats and same-day seats available. The same-day seats are on a first-come first-served basis, so it’s recommended to make a reservation in advance through the official website.
