Miraikan:National Museum of Emerging Science in Odaiba, Tokyo
Miraikan:National Museum of Emerging Science (日本科学未来館) is a museum created by Japan’s Science and Technology Agency, located in Odaiba area in Tokyo. Their exhibition is mainly about innovation, robots, technology, biology, geography and space exploration.
The museum’s some of highlights include the demonstration of ASIMO, the Humanoid Robot created by Honda and the Geo-Cosmos, a giant globe-like display which shows the condition and movement of the earth in high resolution with 10,362 OLED panels.
The museum has a workshop which participants can experience Japanese cutting-edge science and technology through experiments and dialogue. Also there is a play field and co-studio where kids can enjoy and discover the world of science. At the 6th floor, there is a spherical theater called Dome Theater GAIA where dynamic images can be experienced.
If you are into science and Japanese technology, this museum is the best place to explore the deep world of technology, future creations and innovations.
