Donald Duck Theme Cafe to Open in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya in 2022
Donald Duck is the character created in 1943 by Walt Disney. Since his debut in “The Wise Little Hen,” released on June 9, 1934, the grumpy and adorable duck has appeared in more films than any other Disney character and is loved for many people all over the world.
In 2022 spring-summer, to celebrate the anniversary of the release of the movie a special cafe featuring Donald Duck will open in 3 cities in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya). With the theme of “Donald Duck” in his marine look, the cafe offers unique and photo-worthy food and drinks as well as the cafe’s original merchandise.
The Donald Duck theme cafe features summer-inspired dishes with plenty of vegetables and fruits, as well as refreshing cool drink, perfect for early summer. The menu includes Donald Duck face-inspired dishes such as curry, tomato pasta and chicken sandwich. All menus are low-carb, low-salt, and healthy, and made with Disney’s nutritional guidelines.
In addition, the cafe offers a variety of original merchandise such as acrylic key chains, eco bags, stickers, fashion goods and more featuring the special design of Donald Duck in a marine look. There will be also a special event to celebrate Donald Duck’s birthday!
The Donald Duck Cafe will first open in Tokyo (13 May to 18 July 2022), followed by Osaka (2 June to 24 July 2022) and Nagoya (9 June to 31 July 2022). Enjoy the flavour of summer and have a delightful time in the world of the cute and adorable Donald Duck only for a limited time in 2022 summer! And there’s more! There will be special gift for visitors with pre-booking, a free Uchiwa (4 designs in total) The pre-booking free is 715 yen including tax per person. And those who purchase 2,750 yen or more at the merchandise store, they will receive a special sticker (while supplies last).
And for celebrate Donald Duck’s Birthday (June 9), customers that visit the Donald Duck on that day will be given one “big sticker”
