Things You Can Enjoy While Your Child Is at ANO‑NE Kids Club

With your child happily engaged in a safe and fun environment, you can take full advantage of your time in Tokyo. Here are just a few ideas for how to make the most of it:

Ginza Shopping

– Indulge in a shopping spree in Ginza, Tokyo’s most elegant shopping district. Visit iconic department stores like Mitsukoshi and Matsuya, explore flagship stores of luxury brands such as Chanel, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, or wander through stylish malls like GINZA SIX.

Long shopping trips can be exhausting for children, and it’s often hard to enjoy browsing when little ones are getting restless.

Ginza Sushi

– Take your time enjoying authentic Japanese cuisine without rushing through your meal. Treat yourself to an omakase sushi course at a renowned restaurant, or relax with a drink at a cozy izakaya and enjoy the local flavors at your own pace.

Fine dining restaurants tend to have a quiet, formal atmosphere, which can make them difficult to enter with young children. And having a drink in the middle of the day is something best enjoyed when you’re off parenting duty.

Akihabara

– Experience the vibrant world of Japanese pop culture in Akihabara, a paradise for anime, manga, and game lovers. Shop for exclusive merchandise, explore retro video game stores, or visit a themed café.

While Akihabara is full of fun, some shops and displays may not be suitable for children due to adult content in certain areas.

Shibuya

– Explore the youthful energy of Shibuya and Harajuku, Tokyo’s trendiest neighborhoods. Walk across the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing, shop for edgy fashion on Takeshita Street, and snack on colorful sweets and street food.

Many parents feel uneasy about bringing children into areas with heavy foot traffic and constant crowds, especially in places as busy as Shibuya and Harajuku.

FAQs

1. Can I use the service without a reservation?

ANO‑NE Kids Club is a reservation-only facility. Same-day bookings are possible as long as you make a reservation through our website. Please note that reservations can only be made online.

2. My child is shy around new people. Will that be a problem?

It’s natural for some children to feel nervous in a new environment. Our staff are trained to gently support children as they adjust, using friendly communication and creating a welcoming atmosphere. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact us in advance.

3. What should my child wear?

We recommend that children wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in and okay to get a little dirty. Since the activities involve physical movement, clothing that your child can easily put on and take off is ideal. Please bring at least one change of clothes (top and bottom) and a towel for wiping off sweat.

4. Are toilets and diaper changing facilities available?

There are restrooms available inside the facility. However, there is no diaper changing area. For hygiene and safety reasons, we ask that children who are not yet toilet trained do not use the facility.
