Introduced by Michelin Guide Tokyo in 2016, Marugo (丸五) is one of the best places to eat Tonkatsu dish in Japan, and the dish is often described as “another level of Tonkatsu”. The thick and juicy pork is deep fried with crunchy breadcrumbs, and cooked to the perfect tenderness and fattiness, which has been impressing Tokyo’s gourmands.

Marugo is extremely popular and always busy during lunch and dinner time. So be prepare to queue to taste the best quality dish.
