One of the biggest parks in Tokyo, Yoyogi Park is a popular park located near Harajuku, Shibuya and Shinjuku. During spring and summer, there are lots of interesting events held on weekends in this 54.1 ha vast park. Moreover, most of them are free to join!

MAY

4–5th Cambodia Festival

Japan’s biggest Cambodia event. There will be lots of food, and themed shows.

6–7th Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2017

Celebrating LGBT pride in a heat of park with colourful parade.

13–14th Thai Festival

One of the biggest annual events in Yoyogi Park, the famous Thai festival.

20–21st Okinawa Festival

The tropical island of Japan, enjoy Okinawan food and culture show.

27th-28th Laos Festival

Another SE Asia country themed event but much more relaxing vibes.

JUNE

10–11th Vietnam Festival

Annual event of the park. Lots of yummy Vietnamese food.

17–18th Salsa Street Festival

Latin themed festival with much of Salsa dancing

24–25th Sri Lanka Festival

Sri Lanka themed event with lots of curry and a dance show

25th Oedo Antique Market

Tokyo’s one of biggest antique market. Great chance to hunt rare items

JULY

8–9th Ocean Peoples 2017

Event for all beach lovers. Chilax music, pretty market and yummy food.

15–16th Brasil Festival

The true fiesta with the energetic Brasilian power!

23rd Oedo Antique Festival

Tokyo’s one of biggest antique market. Great chance to hunt rare items

29–30th Taiwan Festival

The great naighbour, Taiwan themed festival with lots of dimsums 😉

AUGUST

5th-6th Africa Festival

Hosted by the association of Ivory Coast in Japan

12–13th Songkran Festival

Thailand’s biggest water festival is here in Tokyo

26–27th Harajuku Omotesando Yosakoi Festival

One of the biggest festivals in Japan, Kochi’s Yosakoi Festival is coming to Tokyo
