The world heritage museum, National Museum of Western Art is located in Ueno Park
The National Museum of Western Art (国立西洋美術館) is the premier public art gallery in Japan specializing in art from the Western tradition. The Museum is located in Ueno Park in Taito-ward Tokyo. The museum houses about 4,500 works from the 14th through the beginning of the 20th century as well as temporary exhibitions. In July 2016, UNESCO listed 17 works by Le Corbusier as World Heritage Sites including the National Museum of Western Art building.

Hours: 9:00~17:30 (Closed on Monday)
Admission: 430 JPY (Free admission on every 2nd&4th Saturday)
