Little Mermaid Cafe in Japan 2025

Released in 1989 as Walt Disney’s 28th full-length animation movie, The Little Mermaid is a bright and fun musical fantasy of the blue sea with exciting music and a fantastic story of dreams and hope. An eternal masterpiece continues to be loved all over the world until today.

The story features a pure, bright and curious mermaid princess Ariel, who lives in the sea kingdom with her friends Flounder and Sebastian. Ariel, who longs for the land world, meets and falls in love with Eric, a human prince. She is one of the most beloved Disney princesses of all time.

The limited-time special cafe OH MY CAFE will reopen this spring on the third basement floor of Omotesando Hills. The first special cafe to mark the opening is The Little Mermaid Cafe, inspired by the world of the classic Disney movie The Little Mermaid.

With the concept of “Dreaming of another world”, The Little Mermaid Cafe will offer an exclusive food and drink menu as well as cafe-only merchandise collection. The interior of the cafe features soft and gorgeous pink and purple as the main colors.

The menu includes white omelet rice and muffin sandwiches inspired by Ariel, a dish reminiscent of the famous scene where Ariel and Prince Eric go on a date on a boat on the lake, colorful fruit yogurt that looks like treasure in a shell, and a luxurious afternoon tea inspired by the sea as a special menu to celebrate the reopening. Drinks inspired by popular characters will also be available. All food items are low-salt and low-carbohydrate, complying with Disney’s nutritional guidelines.

Visitors can enjoy a healthy, photo-worthy meal that stimulates all five senses in a space inspired by the world of The Little Mermaid, the Disney movie loved by people of all ages around the world.

In addition, there will be exciting merchandise using original art, fashion accessories, and other cafe original goods, souvenirs, and special offers.

The Little Mermaid Cafe will open in Tokyo (18 April to 8 June 2025), Nagoya (18 April to 1 June 2025) and Osaka (24 April to 8 June 2025). Advance reservations can be made through the official website.
