In the Yamaguchi’s capital city, there are many traditional temples with old Japanese gardens built inside such as Rurikoji Temple and Joeiji Temple. In addition, Iwakuni Castle in the Iwakuni area is built by the daimyo feudal lord who ruled the region during the Edo period.
