You would not find many places in Tokyo which serve meals under 1,000 JPY today, especially if the quality is great. Yamabe (山家) is a small and cosy Tonkatsu (breaded deep-fried pork cutlet) restaurant located in Ueno area. Yamabe is very popular among locals as they serve a great quality Tonkatsu meal only at 750 JPY!! It’s too good to be true until you try.
