First TV Anime Dandadan Theme Cafe to Open in Tokyo, Osaka and Miyagi

Dandadan is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu, currently being serialized in Shonen Jump+ . It is an action, comedy, supernatural manga in which a high school girl (Momo Ayase) who believes in ghosts and a nerdy boy (Ken Takakura) who believes UFOs fight against supernatural phenomena.

Dandadan is currently a very popular manga, with each new chapter exceeding 1 million views, and the total number of copies of the comics, including e-books, published has exceeded 8 million (as of December 2024) It has been also adapted into a TV anime, with the first season airing from October to December 2024, then the second season is scheduled to air from July 2025.

A special theme cafe of the TV anime series of Dandadan will open for a limited time from 13 March 2025 in Tokyo, Osaka, and Miyagi. Based on the concept of “the first cafe based on the TV anime Dandadan”, a stylish and fashionable cafe will offer a special menu full of playful and photo-worthy dishes, including food, desserts, and drinks inspired by the characters. In addition, there will be limited goods and special offers using original illustrations specially drawn for the cafe.
