Tokyo Winter Illumination: Odaiba's Dazzling Spectacle of Light and Fireworks

Odaiba is set to transform into a mesmerizing wonderland of light with the inaugural “Light Walk Odaiba” illumination event, running from 4 to 27 December 2025. This winter spectacle will illuminate the entire waterfront area, creating a magical atmosphere for visitors.
The centerpiece of the event will be the “Yume no Ohashi” (Dream Bridge) in Symbol Promenade Park, which will feature a symbolic clock tower of light. Visitors can ring the clock tower’s bell, triggering a gentle sway in the surrounding lights, creating a mystical ambiance. The park will also be adorned with whimsical light installations, including a “light gate,” talking plants, and glowing mushrooms, leading visitors on a fantastical journey.
The illuminations extend beyond the park, with various landmarks and commercial facilities participating in the festivities. The Statue of Liberty will be bathed in rainbow-colored lights, while Fuji TV and Aqua City Odaiba will also feature special winter illuminations.
Decks Tokyo Beach, a major shopping and entertainment complex in Odaiba, hosts the Odaiba Illumination “YAKEI” year-round, lighting up the waterfront with its iconic night views. From 14 November 2025 to 27 February 2026, the facility will present a winter-exclusive illumination at its popular seaside terrace, “Art Spot ODAIBA”, featuring decorations inspired by the blue of the Odaiba sea, accented with colorful, jewel-like hologram diamonds. A special swing, perfect for photos against the backdrop of the Rainbow Bridge, will also be installed. The exterior of Decks Tokyo Beach will be lit up to resemble a luxurious cruise ship, enhancing the romantic atmosphere.
Adding to the excitement, the “Odaiba Rainbow Fireworks 2025” will light up the winter sky on select nights. The fireworks are scheduled for 6th, 13th, 20th, 24th, and 27th December. On 20th December, a special “Music Fireworks” display will be held, synchronized to music. On 24th December, a special sponsored fireworks show will be held in collaboration with Decks Tokyo Beach, Hilton Tokyo Odaiba, and Aqua City Odaiba. During the fireworks, the exterior of Decks Tokyo Beach will be illuminated in rainbow colors for a truly magical collaboration.
