Hibiya Winter Illumination 2025-2026

Located in the heart of Tokyo, Hibiya is a popular area among Tokyoites. Hibiya Park for example is a recurring site for different events throughout the year.

The illumination event “HIBIYA Magic Time Illumination 2025″ is held in the Hibiya area, including Tokyo Midtown Hibiya from 13 November 2025 to 28 February 2026.

“HIBIYA Magic Time SQUARE 2025”, centered around the Hibiya Step Square, creates a space inspired by a bustling metropolis, filled with gorgeous lights and energy, where people from around the world can come together. This year, it will feature a spectacular tree inspired by Disney Animation Studios’ latest film, Zootopia 2 (scheduled for release on December 5, 2025).

At the center stands the main tree, now twice as tall as last year at approximately 8 meters, surrounded by twinkling cube-shaped decorations that create a vibrant, illuminated scene. The lighting program and background music change throughout the evening, as the tree and cubes come alive in a dynamic, synchronized display of light and sound. Visitors can look forward to an even more dazzling and immersive atmosphere than ever before.

In the surrounding area of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, the “HIBIYA AREA ILLUMINATION” centers around Hibiya Nakadori Avenue, where a sophisticated lighting display combines full-color and white illuminations to create a scene of depth and elegance. This year’s program features a subtler, more refined color palette, allowing visitors to appreciate the delicate transitions and beauty of the ever-changing lights throughout the evening.

At Tokyo Midtown Hibiya’s 6th-floor “PARK VIEW WINTER GARDEN”, the lawn area is illuminated with full-color lights, while the surrounding plants are adorned with white lights. Combined with a musical accompaniment, this open-air space offers a special and memorable experience.
