Halloween is now one of the most popular seasonal events at Tokyo Disney Resort, and Disney Halloween will be back at Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea in 2025 autumn.

Disney Halloween 2025 is kicking off on 17th September and will be held until 31st October. The event will feature Halloween theme parades and shows held at both parks (Disneyland and DisneySea). During the season, the limited-edition merchandise will be sold at park stores and special dishes will be served at restaurants and cafes. Moreover, the limited-time Halloween theme decorations will be available park-wide, which allow visitors to take perfect Halloween photos.

What to Expect

In 2025, Tokyo Disneyland will be revamping its theme, with Disney villains taking center stage. With the theme of “Halloween Party Hosted by Villains,” visitors can enjoy an exciting and enchanting Halloween atmosphere park-wide. The new daytime parade “The Villains Halloween Into the Frenzy” features Disney villains riding their own unique floats and inviting other Disney friends including Mickey Mouse and guests to liven up the party and dance together with special effects at the climax. The popular attraction of the park, the Haunted Mansion will also have a special program collaborating with Tim Burton’s masterpiece The Nightmare Before Christmas, from 16 September 2025 to 12 January 2026.

At Tokyo DisneySea, “Disney Halloween Greetings” will take place at the Mediterranean Harbor, featuring Disney friends dressed in pumpkin and candy themed costumes. At the Lost River Delta, an event themed on the movie “Coco” called “Razos de la Familia,” will be held from 17 September to 2  November 2025. Guests can enjoy decorations themed on the traditional Mexican event “Dia de los Muertos”, which is depicted in the movie, as well as cheerful shows and marigold-inspired menus.

The nighttime fireworks show “Night High Halloween” can be enjoyed at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. The colorful fireworks, set to Halloween music, are a must-see.

Halloween Food Menu and Merchandise

There will be limited-edition food menu available at several restaurants, cafes and food stands at Tokyo Disney Resort for a limited time. Cute, photo-worthy and delicious Halloween theme food and drinks will be sold at both parks. In addition, the special Halloween theme merchandise will be sold at park stores with a wide range of items such as ghost plush toys, headbands, accessories, clothes, sweets and many more.

What to Wear at Disney Halloween

Why not dress up as your favorite character and fully enjoy the Halloween mood? For a limited time only from 16th to 30 September and 16th to 31st October, guests can enter both parks with Halloween costumes of Disney characters. You can immerse yourself into the magical world of Disney as if you become your favourite Disney character only in this time of the year. (Full costumes are not permitted from 1st to 15th October) There will be also a lot of special decorations and photo spots, so make sure to bring your camera and take a lot of photos!
