Starbucks Japan is Releasing “Osaka Limited” Matcha Drinks in 2018!

Starbucks Japan is celebrating “Osaka 20th Thanks Week” the 20th anniversary since the first Starbucks store opening in Osaka City. Don’t miss the Osaka limited Starbucks Matcha drinks made with 1.5 times more Matcha powder!

Shortly after Starbucks Japan Christmas merchandise collection 2018 has been released in Japan this winter, Starbucks Japan has just announced another exciting news for fans. Starbucks Japan is hosting an event “Osaka 20th Thanks Week” to celebrate the 20th anniversary since the first store in Osaka opened, and is releasing 3 limited drinks available only in Osaka for 10 days. Osaka Meccha Matcha Frappuccino, Osaka Meccha Matcha Latte, Osaka Meccha Matcha Iced Latte will be available at 105 Starbucks stores in Osaka Prefecture from 12 November.

Celebrating this special occasion, Starbucks Japan decided to celebrate with the special Match flavour since the famous tea tycoon of Japan from 16th Century, Sen no Rikyū was born in Sakai City, Osaka.

Three beverage are made with 1.5 times more Matcha powder than regular Matcha drinks at Starbucks and they look so green, so Matcha and so delicious. Especially, try the deluxe frappuccino that presents the unique and generous spirit of Osaka in one cup. It’s based with creamy vanilla mink drink with rich Matcha drink and topped with whipped cream, caramel and chocolate sauce, and Match powder. The gorgeous look of the frappuccino reminds us the famous Osaka Castle, doesn’t it??

If you are lucky enough to be around Osaka during this period, make sure to stop by at your nearest Starbucks store to indulge yourself with this special Matcha treat!
